Description and options
TLD ACU-802S-H-CUP: Aircraft Air Conditioning Unit Available for Rent
At the stand, cabin temperature has to be managed without running the APU, whether boarding in summer heat or preparing a departure on a winter morning. The TLD ACU-802S-H-CUP available for rent at AES supplies conditioned air in both cooling and heating modes, so turnarounds can be carried out APU off, from narrow-body to wide-body aircraft.
The unit is available in the AES fleet for airlines, ground handlers and airport operators who need to equip a stand, cover a seasonal peak or comply with local APU restrictions without tying up capital.
Diesel Aircraft Air Conditioning Unit for APU-Off Operations
Trailer mounted and powered by a Cummins diesel engine, the ACU-802S-H-CUP operates independently of airport infrastructure, on contact gates as well as remote stands. Its self-regulating system adjusts air output to cabin demand, and the human-machine interface keeps operation simple for ramp staff. Keeping the APU off reduces fuel burn, noise and emissions at the stand. Integrated hose storage makes repositioning between rotations quicker.
