TLD ACU-301-PKP: Air Conditioning Unit Available for Rent
The TLD ACU-301-PKP supplies conditioned air to regional aircraft during turnarounds and before departure, so cabin temperature can be managed without running the APU. Its diesel-electric architecture on a towable chassis suits stands with no fixed preconditioned air network.
Available in the AES fleet, the ACU-301-PKP is intended for regional airlines, ground handlers serving turboprop and regional jet flights, and airports equipping remote stands or secondary bases.
Aircraft air conditioning unit rental for regional operations
On the ramp, the unit connects to the aircraft through its conditioned air hose and keeps the cabin at a suitable temperature during boarding, crew flight preparation or technical work on board. Using the ACU instead of the APU reduces fuel burn, noise and emissions on stand. Its compact frame and low profile make positioning around the aircraft straightforward, with clear sight lines for the tractor driver. Flip-open covers give direct access to components and keep maintenance stops short.
